Congresspeople are paid way too much and need to have a massive pay cut!



Key Points

  • Congress needs a regular schedule that limits their days, times, and hours that they can work so that speech and rules cannot be used as weapons.

  • While debating and voting, Congress should be able to use any available technology so as not to have a need to always be in Washington, DC.

  • All non-monetary costs like housing should be covered, but pay should be reduced to Living Wage levels and aligned with fewer hours worked.
